AACPS Tech Connections
Did you know that Anne Arundel County has a website full of web resources that align with your content?? Well they do and it's called the Tech Connections! It's been recently updated and it has an abundance of resources you can access which can supplement your teaching! You can find the Tech Connections link in the Web Resources folder on your desktop or you can access it at home through Blackboard. I've created a short video to demonstrate how to access this content from home! Enjoy!

Access AACPS Tech Resources through Blackboard to find a wealth of video tutorials, hand outs and other pertinent technology information. The video below shows how to find supplemental resources for Smart Response using Tech Resources. You should be familiar with this page as it is a very useful tool!

AACPS math curriculum (Pearson - enVison) supplement that provides online manipulatives such as place value blocks, counters, and measurement tools. The eTools work very well with Smartboard tools! eTools are used during the second lesson on Arrays. Students were given a log in and password earlier in the school year; please let me know if you need your password sent to you again.

This website is a great resource for students who are learning multiplication, and who need additional practice with their facts. There are many different games that are very engaging to students. The students can play the games individually or pick a game where they can compete with other students. My students have been very content on this website for a long time, and are very excited to get on and practice their facts.

Arcade Math! This site is filled with arcade games where students can compete against other students in math fact fluency, and knowledge! The motivation factor that this site brings to my classroom is mind-blowing. My students want to learn their facts so they can beat their classmates in the different types of races available on this website!

Fun for the Brain offers educators and students many unique games that teach addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. It is very motivating for the students because they can choose from a variety of themed games that interest them the most. It is great for the teacher because all of the games are educational!

Treasures Online Textbook. Use this link access our reading program textbook and to find many resources such as leveled readers and interactive activities! Students will be given a unique username and password.
